Above: In 1995, the Mytilenean Brotherhood of Perth and Western Australia honoured surviving members of its Inaugural Committee of 1968. President, Evangelos Gavalas, helps, Perth’s Greek Consul, Theodore Passas, present the memorial plaques to recognise the enormous contribution these Committee Members made to establish the Brotherhood.
Evangelos has been an active member of the Mytilenean Brotherhood of Perth and Western Australia, serving –at various times-on the Committee since 1975. He has been President since 1990.
